Hello, I am a senior studying Software Engineering at Iowa State University. I have done 2 internships with Collins Aerospace and will be doing a co-op with Collins again this upcoming summer and fall. I have experience in Frontend Development and Containerization using Docker. In my free time I enjoy learning about Geopolitics, History, lifting weights, and practicing Muay Thai Kickboxing.
Chris Johannsen - Slicer
I'm a senior majoring in Computer Engineering and Philosophy at Iowa State University. I have a background in Aerospace Engineering, having originally majored in it and done a Systems Engineering internship at Collins Aerospace. My current technical interests are in the formal verification of safety critical systems, especially Aerospace systems, using techniques such as runtime verification and model checking. As such, I will be pursuing a PhD in Computer Science from Iowa State after graduation.
Aaron Martin - Printer Control
I'm a senior working on a Bachelors in Computer Engineering at ISU. I enjoy the active learning approach, with my coursework involving projects that span the entire field of ECE. This can be low-level hardware topics such as VLSI and FPGA logic design, or higher-level software work in Embedded Software, Web Development, and Game Design. Outside of school, I like to travel, listen to podcasts and watch documentaries.
Tary Todd - Printer Control
I am a senior at Iowa State University studying Computer Engineering with a minor in Cyber Security. For the past two years, I have interned with both Collins Aerospace and BAE Systems developing GPS devices for the United States Military. As you may be able to guess, my specialty is developing embedded systems, and I am currently taking classes such as CPR E 488 to enhance my capabilities in this field. Outside of work and school, I serve as the treasurer of Students for 2A, a gun rights advocacy group at Iowa State, and I also enjoy playing the guitar, 3D printing, working on cars, and going to the gym with friends.
